![]() ![]() There are many places where the insensibility is quite clever - I especially enjoyed the recurring theme of how some of the most illogical dialogue is actually overly logical - but there are many parts where it feels a little too much to follow along with. The books themselves are chaotic to the point of nonsensical, and while that's part of the novelty it does wear a little tiresome. That alone makes these short classics worth listening to, as her personality has much more charm than her Disney counterpart. Lewis Carroll captures the petulance, curiosity, and stubbornness of a child character so well, that despite not being my favorite book Alice remains one of my favorite leads. ![]()
